DAY 86

The Plans of the Diligent

Proverbs 21:5
기원전 10~6세기 편집 (히브리 지혜문학)
ORIGINAL
מַחְשְׁבוֹת חָרוּץ אַךְ־לְמוֹתָר וְכָל־אָץ אַךְ־לְמַחְסוֹר
📜 THE VERSE

The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance, but everyone who is hasty comes only to want.

❓ TODAY'S QUESTION

Do I build by steadiness, or tear down by haste?

📝Reflection

What I tried to achieve in a hurry usually collapsed in a hurry. What I stacked faithfully, one day at a time, rarely fell, however slow. This verse sets diligence and haste side by side and shows their ends are opposite. Haste looks like speed but is really the shortcut to want. Like a jar filled drop by drop, today's faithfulness becomes abundance in the end.
