DAY 88

A Good Name Is Better Than Riches

Proverbs 22:1
기원전 10~6세기 편집 (히브리 지혜문학)
ORIGINAL
נִבְחָר שֵׁם מֵעֹשֶׁר רָב מִכֶּסֶף וּמִזָּהָב חֵן טוֹב
📜 THE VERSE

A good name is to be chosen over great riches; esteem is better than silver and gold.

❓ TODAY'S QUESTION

Am I now building a name that will outlast my bank account?

📝Reflection

Wealth rises and falls, but a name, once cracked, seldom returns. When young I was fixed on earning, yet living taught me that how people remember me lasts far longer. The East said the tiger dies leaving its hide, and a person dies leaving a name. Each day's small honesty and kept promise piles up and becomes my name in the end — a name no silver or gold can buy.

🌱Apply It Today

Keep one small promise today, even at a loss. That one keeping builds a name.
