DAY 12

Blessed Is the One Who Finds Wisdom

Proverbs 3:13
기원전 10~4세기
ORIGINAL
אַשְׁרֵי אָדָם מָצָא חָכְמָה
📜 THE VERSE

Blessed is the one who finds wisdom, who gains understanding.

❓ TODAY'S QUESTION

Seeking blessing only in wealth and status, have I passed by the greatest blessing — wisdom?

📝Reflection

People look for blessing in wealth, health, and status. Yet the Hebrew sage called finding wisdom the greatest blessing. Wealth can vanish overnight, but wisdom, once absorbed into the body, holds me up in any circumstance. When a rich man falls, nothing remains; the wise, even after losing, know how to rise again. This is why Socrates, though poor, was the richest man in Athens. True blessing lies not in what we grip in our hands but in the vision that keeps us steady no matter what befalls.
